Damn Fool Blues

Don’t got no money for T.V. Don’t got no money for shoes. Don’t got no money for dancin’. Don’t got no money to lay down the blues. Don’t got no money to make no money at all no more no how. They say I’m the brokest fool who ever tried to get up and play.

But I’ll try.

Good Lord I’ll try. I’ll try somehow some way somehow, oh Lord. See me dancing, Lord? See me playing? I’m gonna get up and use these legs I still have. I’m gonna get up and run this old tired heart ’til it don’t beat no more.

Just watch me.
