At First Sight

I peered through the escalator to look at her smooth legs. I wanted to look up her yellow skirt but she wasn’t high enough. When her blouse came into view, I paused in anticipation. Slowly, our faces came into view. She’d been watching me, too. As soon as our eyes met, she looked away. She must have been as disappointed as I was.
