Cancer

Cancer’s a hell of a drug. Snort it, smoke it, drop it. Feel the burn. Cancer sends you miles away. Cancer says: eat your heart out. Cancer takes all the pain, everything away. Cancer’s a bad ass. Cancer maligns you. Don’t fuck with cancer, they say. Cancer transforms you, makes your body into something more. Cancer takes everything away. Cancer eats you. Cancer sends your loved ones packing. Cancer doesn’t know when to quit. Cancer doesn’t know when to lay down and die. Cancer will shoot you first, launch a preemptive strike on your humanity. Cancer will take your teeth, your hair, your sanity. Cancer must die.

I’ve been doing nothing but Relay for Life stuff all day. At least I was able to vent the last few minutes before midnight. Good night all.
